History, Theory and Heritage Research Symposium

The HT Hub was pleased to host the inaugural Three Auckland Providers History, Theory and Heritage Research Symposium on 28 November 2024, welcoming our counterparts from AUT University and Unitec Institute of Technology. The event comprised twelve paper presentations on a range of topics themed according to Pedagogies, Individuals, Collectives and Creative Practices. We anticipate that the event, or something like it, will now become annual, ensuring regular dialogue between history, theory and heritage staff across the three Auckland institutions at a time when many of us are attending fewer international conferences than we once did.  The programme from 28 November can be viewed here.
